Cheap Eats Soho

Soho is the perfect place in London to explore one off shops and grab a bite to eat, so I've put together a quick guide of cheap eats around Soho.

First things first Soho is the one place in London that can satisfy my Chipotle cravings. There are a few dotted around the capital like on Upper Street or Baker Street but the Charing Cross Road restaurant is walking distance from Soho Square, perfect for taking your lunch to on a sunny day. That's exactly what I did this weekend with my friend Lewis. #Chipotleislife.

Omg I want it now
If you enjoy a glass of wine with your food let me direct you to The Yard Bar. The Yard offers a tapas and bottle of wine deal for £15. The courtyard is covered in fairy lights with mismatched chairs and plants everywhere. It has a really nice atmosphere as it's a slightly smaller venue but always buzzing. The courtyard's open area looks especially pretty at night, and if you want to go somewhere a little quieter head up to the loft where you can look over the courtyard.

Enjoying a very generous Rum and Coke

For a coffee with a twist try Soho Bikes, it's mainly a bike shop but has a large café selling great cups of coffee and snacks.  It also does homely meals for the bikers out there that need a pit stop.

Finally a lovely stop for coffee and cakes is Muriel's Kitchen. They also serve as they like to call it "granny's comfort food", the Eggs Florentine is a must. A perfect breakfast, brunch and lunch stop, although it does stay open till 11:30 pm! For a sunny day the seating outside is perfect for people watching on popular Old Compton Street. Best of all, to accompany the wonderful array of cakes is the kitch décor that looks straight out of a Cath Kidston catalogue.

Seeing as its Soho I don't think it would be right to leave without giving G-A-Y a little mention. Sundays through to Thursday they serve vodka, rum, gin, whisky and malibu mixers for £1.70. Perfect for getting a little merry before a night out, just see if you can handle the cheese music at 2pm.

Tilly x
